North America

North America, also called North America, is a general term for the region that includes the North American continent and the surrounding islands and sea areas such as the Caribbean Sea. It is one of the six major continents. It may also include Greenland. Geographically, it includes Anglo-America, the United Mexican States, and Central America, and overlaps with Latin America.

It is often used to refer to just two countries, the United States and Canada, or to three countries including Mexico.
