Help:How to edit a page

Any logged-in user can create new articles or edit those already existing to improve them.

Format and illustrate the article

If you want to, you can edit the articles' appearence with the toolbar and its numerous functions:

For users with old web browsers:

If you're using an old web browser, you might see this toolbar when editing an article:

If you're concerned, I advise to download a more recent browser, for example Firefox. With your current browser, you can edit articles, but only in "wikitext" mode, wich is more difficult.

If you don't see any toolbar, make sure JavaScript is activated on your browser.

Accessing the editing page

To edit an article, display the article and click on the "Edit" link on the menu on the right. (You must be logged in).

Some important pages are protected. Only a wikitechnician can edit them.

Preview the changes

After editing, click on the "Preview" button to see what your article will look like.

You can make changes and preview them as many times as you need before publishing.

Publishing changes (or cancelling them)

If you like the result and you think you're finished, click on the "Publish" button to save your changes.

If you change your mind and you don't want to publish your changes, click on the "Cancel" link.
