Spain

Spain (España), also known as the Kingdom of Spain, is a constitutional monarchy located in the Iberian Peninsula in southwestern Europe, occupying most of the peninsula. It borders Portugal to the west, the British territory of Gibraltar to the south, France and Andorra to the northeast, and has land borders with Morocco at the exclaves of Ceuta and Melilla. In addition to the mainland, Spain also owns the Balearic Islands in the western Mediterranean, the Canary Islands in the Atlantic, Ceuta and Melilla in North Africa, and Alboran Island in the Alboran Sea. Its capital is Madrid.
