Snails:

Phylum: Mollusca Slugs and snails are in the Mollusca phylum. The Mollusca phylum is the second largest of all phyla (plural). Molluscs can be terrestrial (land-living) or aquatic (water-living). Aquatic molluscs can be either marine or fresh water dwellers.

What do they eat?

Snails and slugs have evolved to eat just about everything; they are herbivorous, carnivorous, omnivorous, and detritivorous (eating decaying waste from plants and other animals). There are specialist and generalist species that eat worms, vegetation, rotting vegetation, animal waste, fungus, and other snails.

How do they reproduce?

Fortunately, most snail species are simultaneous hermaphrodites. This means each snail is equipped with the male and female reproductive system. Thus, when two snails meet, they can readily engage in sexual reproduction, with one releasing the sperm gamete and the other releasing the egg gamete.
