Science

Science is the body of knowledge produced by man about the objects and phenomena that surround him. It differs from simple beliefs because it is based on observable, measurable facts that can be verified by experiments.

The role of science is therefore to produce knowledge that allows a better understanding of reality. To produce this knowledge, scientists conduct research. They start by making hypotheses based on what they think might be true and then carry out experiments to check whether their hypotheses are correct. When they are sure of what they are saying, they can then develop a theory, such as relativity (Einstein).
