Palau

Palau is a country made up of islands in the Micronesia region in the Pacific Ocean. Its official name is the Republic of Palau. It gained independence from the trusteeship of the United States in 1994. The capital is Melekeok State. It was moved from the former capital of Koror to Palau on October 7, 2006.
