Nirvana

Nirvana was an influential American rock band formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. The group is best known for bringing alternative rock and the "grunge" sound of the Pacific Northwest to the global mainstream. The band’s core members were lead singer and guitarist Kurt Cobain and bassist Krist Novoselic, along with drummer Dave Grohl, who joined in 1990.
