Niagara Falls

Niagara Falls is a group of three massive waterfalls located on the border between Canada and the United States, specifically between the province of Ontario and the state of New York. The falls are made up of the Horseshoe Falls, the American Falls, and the Bridal Veil Falls, which together produce a higher flow rate than any other waterfall in North America. Formed by melting glaciers at the end of the last ice age, the falls are famous for their immense power and the mist that rises from the river below. Millions of people visit every year to see the spectacle from observation decks or to take boat tours that travel close to the crashing water.
