Joe Biden
Joe Biden is an American politician who served as the 46th president of the United States from 2021 to 2025. He was born in Pennsylvania in 1942 and grew up in a working-class family before moving to Delaware. He became a lawyer and started his political career in local government before being elected to the U.S. Senate in 1972 at the age of 29. He served in the Senate for 36 years, where he became a well-known figure who helped lead important government committees. In 2008, he was chosen to be the vice president under President Barack Obama, a role he held for eight years. After a break from government work, he ran for president and won the 2020 election. During his time as president, his work focused on helping the country recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, building new roads and bridges, and working with other countries around the world. He retired from politics after his term ended in early 2025.
