Foo Fighters

Foo Fighters are an American rock band that formed in 1994. The group was started by Dave Grohl, who had previously been the drummer for the famous grunge band Nirvana. After Nirvana ended, Grohl wanted to continue making music, so he recorded a collection of songs by himself and released them as the first Foo Fighters album. The band’s name comes from a term used by pilots during the Second World War to describe mysterious flying objects in the sky.
