Fall Out Boy is an American rock band formed in Wilmette, Illinois, in 2001. The group consists of lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist Patrick Stump, bassist and primary lyricist Pete Wentz, lead guitarist Joe Trohman, and drummer Andy Hurley. They became one of the most recognizable faces of the 2000s pop-punk and emo scenes, rising to mainstream fame with their 2005 breakthrough album, From Under the Cork Tree, which featured iconic hits like "Sugar, We're Goin Down" and "Dance, Dance."
