Donald Trump

Donald Trump is an American politician, businessman, and media personality who is currently serving as the 47th president of the United States. He was born in New York City in 1946 and spent many years running a large real estate company and appearing on television. He first entered politics when he ran for president in 2016. He won that election and served as the 45th president from 2017 to 2021. After losing his bid for re-election in 2020, he ran for president again in 2024 and won. He began his second term in January 2025. As president, his work has focused on changes to immigration laws, adjustments to trade and tax policies, and various foreign policy initiatives. He is the first person since the 19th century to serve two terms as president that were not back-to-back.
