Central Park
Central Park is a large, iconic public park located in the heart of Manhattan in New York City. Opened to the public in the mid-19th century, it was designed as a natural refuge for city residents to escape the busy, urban environment. Spanning 341 hectares, the park is filled with winding paths, wide-open grassy meadows, calm lakes, and dense woodlands. It features many famous spots, such as Bethesda Terrace, the Great Lawn, and the Central Park Zoo. Throughout the year, it serves as a central hub for outdoor exercise, relaxing, concerts, and cultural events, making it a vital green space for both locals and visitors to enjoy.
