Arctic Monkeys
Arctic Monkeys are an English rock band formed in Sheffield in 2002. The band consists of lead singer and guitarist Alex Turner, guitarist Jamie Cook, bassist Nick O'Malley, and drummer Matt Helders. They became famous in the mid-2000s, largely due to their unique rise to success through the internet. Their debut album, Whatever People Say I Am, That's What I'm Not (2006), became the fastest-selling debut album in British chart history at the time. It featured iconic tracks like "I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor," which showcased their clever lyrics and fast-paced, guitar-driven sound.
